pH monitoring
Dissolution pH monitoring and controlling system for Agilent 708-DS Dissolution Apparatus
Overview
pH monitoring unit
The pH monitoring unit consists of 6 or 8 high-quality pH electrodes with extended cables. It is also possible to use the ion-selective electrodes if the measurements of ionic concentration in an aqueous solution are required.
There are two possibilities for mounting the electrodes on the dissolution apparatus:
electrodes are fixed on the covers of the vessels with special grippers
electrodes are movable (could be lifted up and down) using sampling manifold.

Overview
pH controlling unit
The relay-output unit serves for precise sparging of carbon dioxide or nitrogen in each vessel to control pH value and time-controlled by relays. Gas flow control valves enable the exact flow rate of the gas.

Software
Individual settings
The software runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 10). The results are displayed in tabular and graphic form. The measuring cycle and measuring time limit can be set in a wide range. Single and simultaneous pH calibration is possible. The control set up enables the individual settings for the pH set point and control parameters for each channel.
